With a mix of some of the meanest cichlids, that sounds about right.

Yup. Got some battle scars to prove it. The way to move something in the tank now is a place another object at the the other end of the tank first for them to attack, then quickly move the other hand in to get it.

Need to be partitioned after a water change, after the male gets aggressive towards the female

OK. They're back together again, after the male rammed the divider out of place. Hardy but hardly easy fish. ?

Are these Tilapia Buttikoferi? If so, I'll pass. Have my fair share of aggressive fish as it is. Lol. ?

Indeed buttikoferi.
They seem to have internal parasites or maybe underfed. Their bellies don't look normal

They’ re breeding. Aggression is up a notch. Anyone have any advice on handling super aggressive fish? Objects, rocks, plants are messed up. They will even vigorously attack a net.

Congrats! Having a divider that the female can fit through helps let her get away.

Been thinking.. I've only been keeping cichlids. The tricky question is.. if I can keep some goldfish without having to add a tank. If this even possible? ?
