Hi all new to the forum but thought I would share some pics of my new Jag..its only around 4" long at present so not sure if it can be visually sexed but any opinions appreciated.

Here is a pic of my Jag when I got him 4 weeks ago and also one of his tank..its a 5x2x2 all to himself apart from a large common plec which he has started to chase around quite a bit!Will it be best to take the plec out?

I too am leaning towards female, and a very nice one too. At 4" I would expect to see some of the purple hues if it were a male.
Thanks for all the replies..it does have quite a nice purple sheen but it hasn't come out very well in the pics..
Hmmmm, that's tough...
The oliveish colouration suggests Female, but the small spotting on the under and topside of the fish with the green/bluish hues in the dorsal suggest male...
