jag or dovii

I would do a Dovii I find Jags to be hiders even when there 16 inch Dovii has nice color and gets massive. ... I was in the same situation man, I got a jag and a dovii at the same time and had them housed in a 135 with some other cichlids I couldnt decide either and this jag was not shy of me at all too. But where I live jags are dime a dozen and dovii are much harder to come across, I was forced to remove the jag and give him away the dovii had removed a large portion of the jags tail and the jag would not eat or come out from behinde the heater. So I guess it was kinda a last man standing type thing.... I really like that the dovii is a tough mother _____ and gets huge so in the fall I will be building a 450g plywood tank home for him and a mate. If he really grows on me lol.,
