JAG tankmates

all depends on your jags personality. you will have to do some trial and error. i got a 12-13 inch male jag with a 12-13'' blackbelt, 11'' synspilum, 8'' argentea. and a large pleco in a 180g. My jag just swims around and sheriffs the tank but never beats up on any fish. guess i got a mellow one.

I have a 7" Jag that does fine with a 7" JD and a 4.5" Salvini (If anything, the Sal picks on the Jag), in a 100gal. I have a calm one too. I had an oscar in there that was about 10", the Jag picked on it occasionally but was put in its place fairly quickly.

Mine kills everything in the tank but is acting a surrogate mom/dad to some con fry that were supposed to be food

I like to think of it as "raising his own chickens" so to speak. They begin to vanish as they get bigger :lol:
