Hey nice jag they get pretty big mines around 12" and I've seen lil bigger mine at 8 yrs old

Cute lil guy, and does look very innocent... for now
As for size, then can hit 22" in the wild, and are usually about 16 inches (males) in an aquarium. females are about 2-3 inches smaller in both environments. Always exceptions though, like fishnatics' friend.
