This is the eheim jager i have, not sure if its the new/old version. But the calibration is simple. I just turn the red arrow to the temperature.

i have this one also, bought it over the summer. so i assume its the new one.

Yup those are what I have. Bought one of those a few days ago, so it has to be the new one. I think they work great. Would be my favorite heater, but i really love my fluval E series E300. I love the digital temp display of the water, as opposed to showing the heater setting.

Honestly INHO the best heaters For FW are the Stainless steel heaters. Titaium for SW.

The button does not move so I cannot calibrate it. But it keeps a steady temp and is adjustable, I'm just blind on the dial. Not a big deal. Works fine. Worth the price so far.

I found these instructions in the operator manual

Recalibration
If, after a day or two in operation the setting scale does
not correspond to the water temperature, follow the
following procedure to recalibrate the heater:
Switch off the heater and unplug it from the mains

supply
Measure the water temperature with an accurate
thermometer

Turn indicator arrow (red) to
point to the measured temperature

Set the desired
tank temperature with the temperature selector ring
(blue) .

Hope this helps. Please be sure to use an accurate thermometer when recalibrating the heater.

Awesome, thanks! Kept looking on the internet for how to calibrate it, but I guess all of the info I was finding was for a different model. Thanks again.

i also just bought the new style. i had the old green ebo jager and it worked flawlessly back in the day. i trusted the name and good reviews and purchased the same. it was off by about 4 degrees out of the box. once i set the red dial it holds spot on. - dave

I just got the new model as well. Working great so far. It took a little longer to heat the water initially compared to other heaters I've used. But once it got there it has held like a champ.
