jags acting weird? .. (sex my jags too)

hello good day! long time no see!
anyway, just wanna post some pics of my (2)jags
that are acting a lil strange and coloring up so so "intensely gold"
they been following each other around, giggling, dancing and keeping other fish away. But the thing is, theyre just roughly 6-8inch, too young no? could this be a possible courting behavior?

this cellphone doesnt do them any justice im sorry :(

if any1 cal also pls help me sex them! that wud be great!! :D

omg! i made a little history cheking... look at my old tank lol!

the 1st and 2nd photo were taken last yr when we moved, and the next 2 were taken 2 days ago. This fake cabinet and cover i made from the scrap woods i got from the basement renovation. haha!

never thought how ugly my tank was before:grinno:

nice Jags. I dont think 6-8 inches is too young...ive actually had a pair a few years ago that spawned at around 3-4". There was actually a post about it on cichlid forums...let me see if i can find it.
 
Those are great looking, I really want one. The only ones close by are like 1". $4 though, seems like a decent price


What size tank is that? and what else is in there with them?
