Jag's food?

My backyard has a canal that leads to the ocean where we can dock our boat, back there i can throw a cast net and catch random sizes of salt water shrimp leading from half a inch to 6inch long, do u think it will be find to feed my jags those shrimp, of course ill break there horn and wash them

Go for it. Just make sure they are cleaned as stated. Wish I had a ready made food supply like that.

My ready made food is nightcrawlers, my jag eats a lot of them.
I just have to wait for a good rain.
 
just make sure the source is reliable in terms of pollution, from boats and things like that
 
awesome ill be able to feed them those then and the water is pretty murkey buts clean cause rarely anything every goes by there beside my boat. i sometime catch a handfull of shrimp and make cocktail and im fine.

You are much larger than your fish though.
 
another question as i just got my jaguars in my 75gallon temporaryly atm, are they normaly shy cause ever since i got them in there they hide in this log where they kicked my red wolf fish out (hes scared of the jags) they dont do much swimming around the tank, sometime one of them comes out to scare the other fish around then sneak back inside and havent been eating as much as they should
