Jaguar after breeding problem

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nice looking fish. My concern is the size of the tank. If what you want is for them to breed, you need to make sure that there is enough space for the smaller females to hide from the male.

At this point, I would let them spawn and then remove either the male or the female. From the way it sounds, I would remove the female because you mentioned that the females were eating the eggs.

thank you
i lost all the babies after the egg hatched
i guess i should leave the father with them next time
i'll update when new news

Hello
they did it again :)
and now i have fries swimming (they laied eggs 9 days ago)
what should i do to keep the fry (last time the fries start to diappear after about 15 days)
should i remove the parents from the tank or leave them with the fry
what to feed the fry now or after separation
what is the period of time between each spawning

new update
it's 2 weeks now and the babies still there
i take about 20 of them and put them in a new tank to test if i can raise them
the rest is with the parents
they keep decreasing but i dont see parents eat them

New Update
the kids are now 1 month old
i removed them to a separate tank
and the parents start to fight so i separated them
i can see that some kids are double the size of the others
they lie to eat
i'll try to post pics soon
