hello monsterfishkeepers!
I am wondering when my jag has to be rehomed from the tank which is now. He is small ( i dont know the gender actually) and he is good with my bigger oscar. They never fight at the tank but oscar is definately the dominant in the tank. He is 4’’ now my jag and oscar is 8’’

When the Jaguar Cichlid gets larger the Oscar may become the one that's dominated by the more aggressive Jag. What size aquarium are they in?

Eventually the jag will catch up. My personal experience was that I could not keep a jag with my Oscars in my 180. I tried twice, it worked well both times until the jag hit the 8-10 inch mark. Then the jag decided he wanted to destroy my Oscars and had to be removed.
