naw man 30 gallons is plenty of room for a single fish

Nope, for a fish that can easily get 12" or bigger, not going to happen unless you want a stunted and unhappy fish. To be able to keep a male jag by itself is atleast a 75 gallon. :)

12" for a male is a Gimme. It should pass the foot mark with ease.

GL with the sale.

i use a 30g for a hospital tank for my jag not too long ago but a single jag require at least 100G'.
Hmmm I would say way less than 100$..those fins will never grow back..he is a beauty tho petsmart sells them for 7$?

the only reason itl be in that tank on its own is because it ate everything else.
tank too small.
tank mates too small

I BEG TO DIFFER! nothing under 75g for a single jag and for a pair 150g+ would be best especially during breeding. nice looking fish but looks rather small for 1yr. could this be stunting from being in the 20g? bump this so he can sell this fish quick to a bigger home.:headbang2
