jaguar cichlid feeding problem please help !!!

good plan would hate to see you lose this guy... what are your water parameters?

i don't know but i had few convicts, oscars and many africans cichlid that breed and eat and swim very happy all over the tank so i think my water parameters were good if they bred and eat happy.

i will try bloodworms but i only find them in another town..as in mine they seldom have bloodworms , only food and lots of fish such africans cichlid and others

do you have beef heart or anything like that> could try cutting that up small and feeding that

There are many options, first off it would be nice if you could provide a picture of the tank. The color of the jag will give away stress as well we could see the amount of hiding spaces in your tank.
Keep the tank lighting off provide hiding place and try sinking pellets and other food he can eat from the substrate.

Another thing that might help is another fish depending on the size of your tank. If another Jag is hard to get, try an Oscar fish respond will to competition for food.

you could try the chicken but make sure you trim off all the fat u can as fish dont digest mammalian fat very well

i have some pellets that go on substrate in 2 minutes after floating but i have 2 hiding places and a plastic plant and 1 female auratus and 1 botia macrahanta the jaguar is the same of that one in the photo

Could you post a picture of the jag and the tank?

Also don't feed chicken, if he won't eat bloodworms or earthworms he definitely won't eat chicken. Not to mention it's really unhealthy.
