I have a mang jag- everyone was so sure it was a male- but- nope, it's a female.
What do you mean? Jaguar is the common name for P. Managuense...so they're the same thing. The Honduras is simply a collection point.
^^^ I agree, those pictures are of the same type of fish, no difference, one picture is just better quality, and sometimes females look like males and vice versa, its not fool proof but usually you can put in a good guess, age makes a big difference

IVE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE A PAIR OF BOTH AND I CAN SEE A DIFFERENCE AS FAR AS THE HODURAN JAGS. THEY HAVE MORE BLUE AND A MORE VIBRANT BLUE THEN OTHER JAGS THAT ITS VERY HARD NOT TO MISS. WHEN YOU SEE ONE YOU DEF WILL KNOW IT. THOSE BEAUTIES STAND OUT!
hmm, pretty interesting, sorry I doubted you. Jags do have that blue, I figure the picture was just edited to make it stand out more.
