Jaguar cichlid male or female?

My new juvenile jag hoping to get a. Female so I can breed with my male jag. And inquiries on sexing the jag.

Sorry, that fish is way too small to sex with high accuracy. I agree with the post above^

If you wanted a female probably should have bought 6 or so fish to increase the chance you would have a female. This one may be a female but buying such a young juvenile you have a 50% chance of getting the wrong sex. The other added benefit of having a few to pick from you get to choose the best looking one.
