i feel like there is something about spotting in unpaired fins but i can never tell with jags
I wanna say female because of the darker colouring and football shape, I feel like the males usually have a more pronounced jaw also, either way nice fish
To me it looks to be a young male.
The slope of the forehead.
And the spots on the jaw and lower gill plate.
Female Parachromis have a more torpedo shaped profile, and the lower jaw and gill plate are "usually"devoid of spots.
Below a female P motaguensis (very close cousin to managuense)
compare those features to a male below
