Jaguar cichlid tank mates

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You could do somthing in the vieja genus, or green terror, oscars, texas cichlids, there are really alot of options. I think depending on the size of your jag put some tinfoil barbs or silver dollars with him and maybe add another cichlid or two. It might be hard adding new cichlids if he is big and has been in the tank for a while, but all you can do is try.

Oscar. Silver Dollars. Tin Foil Barbs. Possibly a Bay Snook.
For a bottom feeder a common Pleco or a Lima Shovelnose Catfish.

A lot will depend on the aggression level of your Jag. Mine is pretty laid back but i have seen some with pretty high aggression levels.
