Jaguar cichlid?

Hi
Went to visit my wife's cousin today since I carry my fishing rod in my trunk and not into conversations about JL0 or Brittany Spears lol . I cast a bit by lake near her house.

Caught 3 of these fish think either Mayan Cichlid or Jaguar cichlid? The other 2 jumped so high that they got unhooked which is just as well as I let them go right away after I take a pic.

Miami fishing is fun its a grab bag of neat fish

The place is called Miami lakes its houses around a lake but the houses yards done extend to the actual lake thus you have like 50 feet of lake grass for anyone to use.
The whole area are lakes that connect . I caught them by the houses but I walked initially behind mini mall,stores and huge peacock bass and Oscars I didnt fish those as its breeding season .

I saw an Albino Oscar that I allmost jumped in to catch lol but actually it seemed to be spawning also

It is a Jag than ok thats what I thought the other 2 were bigger fought real hard jumped over and over and got unhooked which is fine with me as I let them go right away

I dont know difference between jag and Myan they look similiar to me . If I had a huge tank I would have kept it colors were very nice but since dont let it go after pic

we took the turnpike and got off at Miami Lakes . The whole place /town is called Miami Lakes thats the actual name of the town not a slang name.

Its lakes all over I walked a long stretch of it and Peacocks everywhere . The Oscars were a neat suprise and ofcourse Jag cichlids.
