Jaguar cichlid?

Yes the fishing is great I long to get back to NY but untill I do the fishing and snake searching is fun.
I have seen neat snakes hope to catch a Scarlet kingsnake

Have you ever seen Jack Dempseys in any of the lakes,ponds ? I ask because heard from someone in area of large breeding Dempseys .

I dont plan to catch any but that would be neat if it was the case. I must admit I love seeing the non natives .

That jag cichlid fought harder then the bigger peacock basses I caught last time I fished .

I caught a few the others got away but putting aside the sky high jumping which shocked me they fought so hard first one I caught thought it must be huge softshell turtle.
lb per lb they destroy peacock bass. Everyone here sings PB praises as fighters but the way smaller jag cichlid is a unreal.
 
great catch. i didnt know they where any in the wild in the US
