Ye cheers pal, I hope it's a male but from a distance you can see quite a bold lateral line running down both flanks which as you get closer becomes harder to see.

Having a name like jag14 says it all haha I use to have 14" male a few years back was one of my favourite fish I've owned fingers crosSed he gets that size.

Its male. Its hard to tell if its gold or not. The spots are lighter like a gold morph. Could still be flushed out from stress and if his last owner didnt take good care of him also may have had some effect. After youve had him a while and got him all healthy then youll know for sure. Still a hansome little male though. Glad hes got a good home.

Cheers guys, just hope his fins improve after a while looks like nemo with attitude. Been feeding twice daily so he should fill out in no time.
