I didn't raise my jag, and I was told it was around 2 when I got it. I had it for like 3-4 month so far.

It could be younger I guess. Your female does look almost the same, so I guess it is a she. I have mostly female cichlids then; thought it was male. My Jack Dempsey may be the only male; unless he too is female lol

Cool; thanks. That's the only male cichlid I have then; I guess that's why he is chased all the time by the female red tiger and the Texas/flowerhorn

bull male JD like to sleep and eat. give him a place to hide. what size tank they in?

150; he has a couple caves and a pipe.

Would be awesome if he would spawn with one of the big female cichlids but they seem to chase him crazy at times
