I once had an.Oscar who ate a wasp. He wasnt even.big about 4 inches.

Guess I'll add insect population control to another reason I want to keep one when I get a bigger tank someday.

Still way to small to sex. Jags start to be really sexable at around 3 to 4 inches. Even then it can be tough visually. Venting at that size and larger is the most sure way.

If I had to guess, I would say female. Brownish spots on the chin under the eye are a female trait. Venting is always best.

That is great. My loisellie will eat anything that is at the surface of the water. Oscars are great at this too. I used to get feeder crickets which is always fun to watch. The crickets just float so they make an easy target.
