Yeah, XR already got whacked with the ban stick once. I don't see him doing a repeat performance!
 
oh wow lol this thread almost exploded o_o

anyways .. I know ditching the RTC will have to come evetually, but right now I'd say its about 6 inches so I'll be able to keep it happy in my tank for just a bit longer (:

& I see that getting a Jag would be a bad idea .. I've basically thrown that one out the window.

I'm still interested in possibly getting a GT though, aswell as say 4 severums, and the addition of one more firemouth.

I know that I'll have to upgrade, but my only concern is aggression. I don't want any of my fish getting harassed and what not.

Ok, first, you probably won't have to worry about aggression with the sevs. Second, firemouths tend to be just a notch above sevs in the aggression category. Third, a GT can go either way. That's a fish that has a wide range of personalities.

If you want a breeding pair of firemouths or any other of the cichlids you've listed, be prepared for increased aggression.
 
Lol as i stated 95% of the people here will disagree with me. Also you said you've been in the hobby for 25 years. How many fishes have you killed? seriously, most fishes that come from LFS die or get abandoned before they hit maturity agree?.. There is plenty of fishes that cannot grow to their full potential because of captivity I don't need to state names its obvious i'll let your experience figure out names its not too hard. I also mentioned fishes belong in lakes/rivers etc how am i wrong for this? jump off the band wagon

He's 13" got him from a LFS with a quarter size hole in his head (HITH). I've been curing him for the past months and have gotten the hole down to 1/3 of dime size :) he came from being a ugly duckling that nobody wanted to a beautiful swan :ROFL:
