Man, after a year and a half that Jag should be triple that size. It sounds like it is stunted. A Jag can't live a long and healthy life in a 55gal. alone and especially not with tankmates. The Red Devil is in the same boat. These cichlids require bigger tanks. Jags are territorial cichlids so it will try to keep the other fish from its area. Try feeding it some bloodworms or hold back feeding a bit. It won't starve itself. Hopefully it's not sick.smokeythebair;4807358;4807358 said:
Ok. You had me worried there for a second. But this combo will only last successfully in a 55gal for 2 or 3 months for the reasons that I already mentioned. Jags and Red Devils grow very quickly and so does their aggression. .
