A few years ago I had a female from Petco with the redish-purple on the side. What kind looks like that?
Nice catch! Looks like a friedrichsthalii hybrid to me. I'm looking at that diagonal stripe coming down from the eye and the pearling pattern on the face doesn't look full managuense to me.
