Love your fish mate, especially the Jags you have had!
What do you feed him and how often? I think I remember you recommending Massivore before, my Jag is on Massivore and Hikari Gold with occasional insect treats but he never seems to beef up like yours have. If I try to feed him more than I am already I end up with food all over the bottom of the tank.

LoLz, not with Brent. It's a second in a lifetime fish....I don't know how he does it.
Thanks. I only feed once a day. The food consists of Hikarai Cichlid Gold and Massivore for the pellets. That makes up the vast majority of their diet. Extras include raw prawn/shrimp,meal worms,fish fillet and all the invasive geckos I can catch. The jag is real partial to them.
haha..Thanks Balton...I was just lucky to find this guy, especially having just lost my last big jag at the time. I guess I could see the potential more than the previous owner.
