Can anyone tell me what this thing is on my jaguar's fin? Also, how can I treat it, please?? It almost looks like a food pellet.

It sounds like it is a recovering fin injury, which often appears as a large white lump where the damage was.

It's all by itself in a 125 gallon tank. It just appeared on its fin when I got back from vacation.

Looks like it could be from injury. Leave alone for now. Prevent any more injury.

Looks similar to what happened to an old vieja cichlid I had, fin damage from what I assumed what another cichlid.

Clean water is the best thing you can give it for now.
