Iceland
Im getting some juvies soon, i dont have that Hikari stuff. Iceland is late, the best food i think i can get is New Life Spectrum. I will be feeding the following:

Cut up market shrimps
NLS FW Growth Formula
Frozen Bloodworms
Frozen Cichlid formula

Isn't that gonna be ok?
Can someone give me a link to someone who can ship Hikari to Iceland?:grinno:

NLS is way better than Hikari. Just check the ingredients. You'll be fine with what you're doing, though I'd only feed the frozen stuff as treats.

Hikari cichlid gold-

White fish meal, wheat flour, wheat-germ meal, brewers' dried yeast, soybean meal, shrimp meal, dehydrated alfalfa meal, carotene, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin A supplement, l-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (source of vitamin C), vitamin B12 supplement, biotin, calcium pantothenate, choline chloride, D activated animal sterol (source of vitamin D3), folic acid, menadione sodium bisulfite (source of vitamin K activity), inositol, para-aminobenzoic acid, zinc oxide, manganous oxide, salt, ferrous chloride, copper sulfate, cobalt sulfate, aluminum sulfate, magnesium sulfate.

NLS grow formula-

Krill Meal, Fish Meal, Wheat Flour, Amino Acids, Algae Meal, Soybean Meal, Fish Oil, Beta Carotene, Spirulina, Vitamin A Acetate, D-Activated Animal- Sterol (D3), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Niacin, Folic Acid, Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine, Biotin.

How much would it cost to ship a 10 pound package from the USA to Iceland?

nls is overpriced garbage.

You got to back that statement up.

Hikari uses a lot of fillers and binding agents which the fish cannot digest. It's essentially fish meal with fillers and binding agents. It also contains ingredients like copper sulfate (herbicide, fungicide, pesticide), aluminum sulfate (the active ingredient of some antiperspirants and a concrete accelerator), and ferrous chloride (serves as a reducing flocculating agent in wastewater treatment).

I'll take a much higher ingredient amount of krill meal, Algae Meal, Spirulina with just one binding agent, wheat flour. Add in amino acids, beta carotene, and fish oil and it's looking pretty good.

This doesn't mean I don't use Hikari, I do. But to call NLS overpriced garbage is pretty ignorant.
