Sounds like quite the prolific breeder you got there. Never seen one capable of egg laying at that small size. The earliest any of mine have layed eggs has been around 5".

i just thought of eggs when he said she was digging around and spitting gravel around the tank. mine take all the gravel and put it in one massive pile in the corner so when i gravel vac i dont come near the eggs. after they hatch and start swimming they move it back because they know if they dont, i will.

i was so confused when i first got them. i thought the same thing. waaaayyy to small to breed. but now i have like 2000 or more jags if anyone wants any haha. their dad is my avatar
