Yes it is a cuban cichlid, i have a pair and several babies. Nice lookin fish.

As almost everyone says its a Cuban he looks a little longer than the ones I have seen so I can see how you wern't sure. Some Lfs's don't know their stuff a friend of mine got a female flowerhorn that was sold to him as a jack dempsey! My pair of creamcicle midas were sold to me as mollies @ Walmart!!! I just laughed to my self when the lady did that am I wrong for doing that?
