You only see the pseudo canines. Trust me if you we're to peel back his lips you'll see teeth

ive heard crazy things about the jag and dovii wit theyr crazy A** teeth. so maybe the other ones r more back behind the lip. why do they have canines like that? I find it to be the wildest thing
I may be off but I remember in some article that I read that jags primarily eat fish in the wild. Anything that eats fish needs sharp teeth to hold on to its prey. But like I said I may be off

Yep. Jags and Dovii are piscivores(fish eaters) in the wild and have large canines to keep their prey held in their jaws.

sick!!, parachromis rule. I wish I cud own a dovii too but I def don't hav the room in my 125 my jag is in there..
for a couple years then I wud need 180-250 gals. my jag will sustain in the 125 tho so for that I am glad
