No I dont think they are fertilized. There the same color. Some were on the tank wall and for some reason shes taking them off and placing them all together. Shes still protecting them but I think in a few days shell give up or eat them. The only thing I could think of is the Jd was willing but never got a chance b/c of the jags aggression. Like i said I definitely saw both of them showing their sexual organs the first day. Mayb next month.

hes referring to aggresion and the jag defending the eggs. have you thought about hatching the fry artificially?

just leave them be for now....if their fertilized, the jags will do their thing and protect the eggs....my jags just laid eggs last night again.....they defend like crazy against everything that comes near the eggs....the male even goes after my Butti who is much bigger in size.....

take the rock or whatever they lay the spawn in and place it in a ten gallon(or so) with a sponge filter. thats just a good way to make sure neither of the parents(or anyone else) eat any of their spawn.
maybe they are infertile. my pair of angels once had a spawn that stayed brown but never hatched, they eventually got eaten.
