I have two 1000K watt heaters for a total of 2000 Watts for my 600. Is this sufficient? only time I run heaters is during the winter time since it get's hot in So.Cal and being from the Valley I usually don't need them on. It's just this past few weeks has been hella cold.

Typical rule of thumb is 3-5 watts per gallon. You should be fine.

try jehmco contollers

Got one on order! :D

I used a jemco controller on my big ray pond in the past with a 1000w titanium heater, forget brand though, and the controller was great. now i use it with stealth 250w heaters. i think what you have sounds crazy overkill from by you. In my 300g rubbermaid filled almost to the top in a unfinished concrete basement and its been between 5-30 pretty consistent out and I use 3 250w stealths and it keeps the pond at 85 with no additional insulation more than styro between the bottom and the concrete floor. They are also all 3 in the sump which is only roughly 40g where its harder to maintain a temp like that. guess i just ranted... my bad... didn't mean to derail but i guess I meant i just like the jemco with the stealths and its great but I am a huge fan of stealth heaters in general.
