They look very different than any nourissati I've ever seen. I frankly have no idea what they could be.

This is what I think of as nourissati - http://www.cichlidae.com/gallery/species.php?s=178

Not going to argue semantics about a fish that you don't own but I don't think they're nourissati and though I hate to jump on the hybrid band wagon I feel that that is what they could be. :(

What about the fish bottom right in photo one and behind the Chuco in photo 13?

Thanks.

Don't think Ron (owner) would be keeping hybrids. I did a quick google search for Amphilophus nourisatti and there's a few pictures on there that do look similar to the ones in these pictures. Another thing we have to remember is these are all full grown or very close to it.

Fish in question in photo 13 might be another Amphilophus nourisatti. I know Ron only have 5 or so different species of New Worlds in that tank. But let me ask him about it to make sure.

If it comes back that the second fish in question was labeled as nourissati as well I'd put money on them being hybrids. :(

Man!

Btw, this is a picture i stole of a nourisatti, and imo it's not the same fish as pictured in this thread.

Maybe it's a female or younger specimen.

Just got answer back it's a nourisatti.

There's limited amount of pictures and infos on these guys on the internet so I'll let everyone come to their own conclusions, but I do believe these are pure.
