Japan 08' - Fish stores and public aquariums

how much time do you have there? for a quick fix, you can chechk out Tokyo tower, a whole lot of fish in a small area . ther is also Shinagawa aquarium which is more of the all day event type deal its a bit of drive, but a quicker trip by train. as far as fish stores go, ill dig up a link i have somewhere that has maps of most of the good LFS in Tokyo and the outlying areas. If you are staying in tokyo be sure to take a walking trip down Ginsa there are a few very nice stores there. be sure to check out any chainstores like kanedai or tiara's.

Heres that link, just click on the first picture of the "google map" and it will display the stores in the area. the pinpoints will have the addresses, websites, and some general info on the stores. hope your japanese is good though..lol. good luck and have fun. while your there be sure to pick up some TetraMonster Pellets for your fish!! i just found out they dont sell them stateside..lol
edit; forgot to add, the drop down menu on top is already set for the tokyo metro area (w/ a little bit of yokohama) if you change the selection up one item in the drop down menu it will span out to stores all over japan. have fun!

Heres another linke to my favorite chainstores. if you go to the one in Ome, and see a tank over crowded w/ dats in the way back near the feeders, tell those fish i miss them...lol.. they all used to be mine.
