Japan Nogyosai Koi Show 2010

Every year in Niigata Japan breeders hold a koi show called Nogyosai. This 2010 year I was able to capture just a piece of the show on video. Some of the fish entered this year measured over 1 meter! Also take note the use of portable show tanks outdoors. More info on these tanks can be found in our vendor sections:) Enjoy!

I'd say tens of thousands easily. I've seen ones for sale at a local importer going for $10-20k, and they were nothing compared to the ones in the video.

This shows happens to be a breeders koi show. Alot of the fish shown are the best in the area. Some of the fish shown are already sold however many are for sale. BIG price tag!!! I just booked my tickets for the All Japan Koi Show 2011 which will be held at the end of Jan. Anyone up for a LIVE video feed of the event? =) I'm working out the details to possibly make this happen. I'll post updated info on our FB page, newsletters and vendor news section as the time nears.
