That is a lionhead goldfish i beleive aka horrible fish, lol

yeah that price is about right, they go for 5pounds here at my locals
Absolutely wrong! That's a black oranda. Lionheads do NOT have dorsal fins.

If this is truly a black oranda that he sells, then $5 is really a bargain, much less than I would ask for especially. Though by size and indicating it already has bred, I'd say it is stunted.

Very strange info he has there. Why on earth would he think it is compatible with African cichlids? He may have posted the wrong info. This is very misleading.:irked:

haha, that's why I said I got this pic from posting black oranda, guess everyone just missed it ????

IT'S A TRAP! XD

Honestly, it's pretty hilarious! It is possible he simply used the wrong photo, but now I can tell people that I have a tank full of 'Japanese Cichlids'. Or since they are not black orandas specifically, I should call them something else.

Though even if it is simply a matter of having the wrong photo, what on earth could he mean by 'Japanese Cichlid'?

If you want to see what he says in emails just for laughs, then that's cool. Otherwise stay away. That's not even his pic. He's either an idiot, a scammer, or both. The only possible outcomes are you get your time wasted, or you get robbed.

madagascar,yes...

ask him if there jet black with blue spots, there is a stunning cichlid from there called polleni, if you have the large spot there pretty rare, small spots are more common, but still a very rare cichlid,i used to have one

My LFS has 5 tanks full of baby polleni's for $9... Not all that rare.
