Japanese Hair Straightening... anyone ever do it?

So yeah, has anyone here on MFK ever done it?

I've heard people who say it's amazing and I've also heard people who say it absolutely sucks.

I have an appointment there in 2 hours, and I just wanna know... should I go for it? For my hair length it'll be about $150-$200...
 
Never tried it but my hair is naturally straight and I maintain it with shampoo for straight hair.:) Interesting though. Seems similar to hair relax from the sound of it.
 
Just soak your head and then iron it flat! Easy! :D :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Lucky! I've been dreaming of straight hair forever. I've had relaxers done before and it was just awful! I even got some chemical burns on my scalp. :WHOA:

No! It takes like an hour to do it. I used to do it before and it just got so psychologically tiring to repeat the same process night after night after night that it just made me want to beat myself to a pulp with the straight iron. Besides, Monday and Wednesday nights I have college classes, so I don't get home until about midnight.
 
hmmm are you a girl? you have a picture of a boy on your avatar..my hair is naturally straight too so i dont know. but i thought they used steam to straighter your hair and once its done it stays like that for a few months. or maybe thats something else.
 
my ex boyfriend had a relaxer on his hair and it started to break really easy it was £8 from boots what did he expect? haha ......might have been because i left it on too long muhahahah boys with long hair are shexy

tell me how it goes,i need mine doing, my hair is kinky lol
