actually most types of race car driving requires stamina, quick reflexes, etc. Albeit not a athlete in the purest sense still require skills to do the sport. But I see the point you were going for.

That guy has nothing on JDMAN at chipotle.

In any contest or compatition where a contenter can eat burgers, hot dogs smoke or drink beer that is called a game not a sport.Example bowling is not a sport why is it on sports center? they sit in the ac drinking beer and eating junk food smoking cigeretts it's a joke why not put me on sports center showing me playing video games and doing bong hits it makes as much sense as calling kobiashi a athalete yes he is capable of a amazing feat but it should not be considered a sport more like a bar bet .

Show the Champ some respect! :headbang2 I think he still has the record, there is a guy named Joey Chestnut that is a young american dude that is getting close to him during the contests, but as far I've heard has never passed it. I hate to see an athlete of his caliber go down because of an injury!!;) Still it would have been great to see him win for the what 7th time in a row?

Joe Chestnut has the record. 59.5 hot dogs in 12 min.

It's a sport because you have to train your body part, stomach muscle. Bowling is a sport because you have to train hand/eye coordination like baseball and golf. Unlike NASCAR and texas hold'em poker, I don't think they should be considered sports.

Tell that to Jeff Gordon...I gaurantee race car drivers go thru much more riggorous training than choking down hot dogs. Race car drivers lose anywhere between 6 and 15 pounds in one race...the physical endurance and strength it takes to race cars is a lot more than most sports. And no im not a fan of NASCAR,but Ill give respect where respect is due...
