Japonicus on Diver's Den - Is it just me or does this thing look like hell?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I actually just spoke with someone at Dr. Foster and Smith and they said they would look into the situation immediately, I guess we will see if they take customer phone calls seriously. I do feel bad for the shark but it shouldn't be for sale at least not yet.

I find it interesting that they are saying it is eating, I would think that they would hold onto this shark a little longer and fatten her up before offering her for sale. With this said I disagree with stopsharkfinning and your comment about animal cruelty. I understand that the shark should not be offered for sale but at the same time does anyone actually know the background story of this shark in particular? I doubt that it has been subject to cruelty beyond any other fish that has traveled such as distance, if it was treated poor by liveaquaria I would be very surprised.
the cruelty part was offering a shark for sale when it is clearly not healthy and there is a good chance that transport or acclimitizing the shark may kill it, is not in the sharks best intrest. IMO offering that shark in its current state is act of cruelity [ wikipedia /cruelity, indifference to suffering]
