  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thats an mines an albino asian redtail cat hemibagarus nemurus or sth not the SA redtail cat and ive got extra tanks =X two empty ones and a 100g long stocked with bloodparrots and p.bass theres going to be a tank joining project coming up hehe that would be a 5ft long 110g

i have kept both the asain and south american red tail. i have noticed both to be very aggressive feeders as well as a pain in the but specially when the lights go out. The Asain red tail i owned managed to get himself into an old whisper power filter one night when the intake stem fell off. poor little guy, needless to say he did not have a chance to get to large but he was still nasty. The SA red tail i owned was not to to aggressive towards what he could not fit into his mouth when he was young, however once he began growing he was highly aggressive towards everything. He now resides in a friend of mines tank, and is now pushing 20 pounds, i will have to get some pics of him the next time i am up there. Anyway my friend had to seperate the SA red tail from everything else including a large black arowana i also gave to him. Overall i would say that you may be ok, it will depend much on the fishes tempermant you get as well as the pace of which the two grow. I think it can be said for either that if they get big enough they would be more than happy to make a meal of the other.

haha its now together with my pbass and the school of BP the bp always swim to where ever the pbass and aro go kindof like attracted to them =X

My Jar just about killed my 16" RTC. Now they ar in tanks right nect to each other. The RTC eats first and the Jar is PISSED to see him eat.
You must realize my Jar wants to eat the cat who sleeps on top of his tank, too.
