The answer is only good when it pertain to the question! And you did use your psychic power to assume that he's going to keep 3 "giant" arowana in a 125-gal tank!

? <- that this is called a question mark, and denotes a sentence as a question (well at least it did when I went to school).

Just wondering i have in separate tanks an black(6"), lei(6"), and jar(6.5") and was wondering if they could be in a single 125g? would the jar scrap with the black and lei? or vice versa?:confused:

I've followed your lead and highlighted the question marks in red. There are three question marks signifying three questions, although the third is really just an extension of the second question;

Just wondering i have in separate tanks an black(6"), lei(6"), and jar(6.5") and was wondering if they could be in a single 125g?

and

would the jar scrap with the black and lei? or vice versa?

I didn't attempt to answer the second question as I felt it was irrelevant if he was planning on keeping the three fish in a 125g. I answered the first question based on the information presented in the post, which was that he had three arowana and a 125g tank and was planning on keeping all three of them together, there was no mention of a larger tank or the 125g being a temporary measure. In hindsight I could have elaborated and said that they might be able to live together in that tank for a while but you would need to upgrade your tank in the near future, but then I probably would still have been flamed for not being a mind reader who knew there was a 360g tank waiting.

Because of lack of info givin on the OP's part and other unknown factors the answer to all three questions would be... maybe.

I am to assume the 125g has water in it, is properly cycled and filtered. However, if not, then no. All the aros will die but at least they will not fight:D

BTW, why did you post this in the "Arowana media lounge" if you are not posting any pictures or video?

Assumption is the mother of all f-ups. Should I have assumed that he had a bigger tank, or assumed that he was a noob who thought fish will only grow as big as the tank they are in?
Maybe I'll just ignore questions posted with insufficient information, probably safer, at least then I won't be accused of not "read [between the lines] before type"....

well yes i am a noob that has been in the hobby for 9 years that has not that much experience with aros. geez wtf just asking a question...
and yes the tank is cycling it has the single black aro in it. As for little info... that is what a reply is or i can't reply back? For posting in the media lounge sorry wrong place can mod move please.

How does it get from "post" to "sentence" and "mark?" :popcorn:

As I said, I've got no idea who you are, what experience you have, and just answered your question based on the [little] information in your post. Don't take it personally, how was I supposed to know the 125g was only a temporary measure when you made no mention of a bigger tank?

I'm not even sure what you're asking now, and I don't really care. Good on ya Mr Internet Toughguy, I've learned my lesson, I'll make sure I "read before type".....

The tank is cycled or cycling? Not a good idea to keep a black aro in a tank that is not completely cycled.

From looking at your other thread, it does not appear that you black in doing great.
