GL mate... ive switched from sticks to Cichlid gold as of now... cause of availibility around here.... and classica proves to be expensive... finally had some success today although just with my biggest silver aro who is about a feet and the jar 6"... so hoping the other two juvie silvers follow suit as well....

my suggestion to you is get them trained on various types of food... i give mine shrimps and BW as well

Well she eats dried shrimp, defrost Kirk , shrimp and BW. Before I train her to eat sticks. So every Sunday I feed her the defrost stuff and the week days I only feed her sticks. But i will never train her to eat live fish and crickets.

Is it bad just to feed my aro a dried shrimp? Since she loves dried shimp. For some reason I don't see the stick making my aro full. Cause she eat and spit most of the stuff my LC is the one eating most of it...

That what I do I take off the head. Them feed him the rest of it. I just don't want them to do the hunger strike thing, or that's for adult?

u r better of keepin them well fed... but at times i just skip a meal for them and give them a good feed....

Mine is eating 6 sticks in the morning and 6 sticks at night now. I'll occasionally feed 2-3 during the day if I am home. The Jar I had before would eat a few, then chew the rest up and spit them out. It did this for around a month after i pellet trained it, but then stopped.

So you think that is just there nature? Just be patient about it? I just don't want my jar to starve, Other thing is so basically you only feed your jar 2 day? And 3 times on your day off?
