Ok, hope this will help...
Feed jar until it wont receive any more food..
then you can put the marbles in.

In my case, aro will go and do some manuvers near / on top of the rays,
but since it's very full , it wont even bother to open its jaw to attack the ray.
This will last a whole day and then aro will lose interest in the ray..
Keep in mind to always feed your aro until its fullest, at least for a day or two,
then you can go back to whatever routine you have.

Anyway, its just my experience, so you should keep an eye for any actions happening in the tank and get another tank ready for separation.

My worst scenario now is having a serious drop eye on the aro :D

you might want to change your location now.....

i see death in the future for the rays if you try it...

I have seen this go bad many times on this forum. Asian aros are not as agressive as full size jardini. Even if it works out for the first week or so, one day you are going to wake up with some dead, or atleast beat up stingrays.

I have a Jar with my 2 Motoro's and 4 Polypterus. My Jar is only 5" so no risk yet, I'm just trying to get him acclimated to having tankmates...

Oh and RayRookie, I hope you're not really in Wisconsin...

jars are more aggressive than asian aros.
on the other hand, each fish is its own fish. some are nice some are phyco,
you just dont know. And if the risk is worth trying.
Go for it.

I rekon you should try a big catfish just somethign tahts cheap and a bottom dweller for a while. then u can see how the aro reacts to bottom dwelling fish.
