also what time of the year, surprisingly during spring this ending year, i saw a bunch for 25.99, then this fall i went to the fish store they where 40.99

LFS have opperating cost and need to sell fish at retail to say in business. A jardini that size would sell at a LFS for arond 60-70 dollars. Individules who can't make up their mind on what fish to keep, should expect to get about half that either selling to the public or selling back to the LFS.
so like i said... $20 tops 
you spent $40 divide that by 1/2 = 20
the lfs you went to probably marked up that jar 4 times more than what they really got it for if they are able to sell it for 50% off. realized no one was buying it at a high price and needed to move it. lfs dont like to sit on fish for long periods of time.

then the next week he got in a new shipment for half of
so he had a halfoff sale
he still payed the same amount
so i didnt get ripped off
and im tired of everyones neggative coments and jokes
its realy pissing me off

i put it on hold and was expecting to pay 80
so unexpectedly he had a half off sale the next week when i went to get it
so i got it for 40 instead of 80
it was worth 80
and its grown a little bit more and I healed it up a little
theyre was alot of scratches on it
well not alot but i healed it
80 seems really steep, if it was 80 you shouldn't buy it from the fish store other places will always have it cheaper.
60-80 is pretty much normal for baby jars out here in AZ. But as its been pointed out...don't expect to get retail for a private party sale.
