I've kept a few jardini's, lectchardi, silvers and black aros and now an Asian, I must say the jardini is buy far the meanest of all. Alot more stress with chasing and killing when the jardini starts to mature. Also some of mine have been know to snap and a kill a few fish one night apparently for fun.

If you're so confident then why did you bother asking the question? :screwy:

I wasn't asking if the ray would attack the Jardini. Next time read the question and title, process it properly, think, then respond it will help increase the possibility that you don't make a fool of yourself. :nilly:

They should be fine..

Go for it. My friend has had his red tail gold with two 7 inch stingrays until somebody fed the stingrays the wrong food and they died. He only keeps his RTG by itself and its probably around 17" or bigger. My Jardini would be frightened by the stingsray probably. But mines a skittish type.

Should be fine. I have kept lots of loaches, 2 TSN with my jar and he never seemed to bother them. But given an opportunity...........never know.

As long as the ponds tall enough to give them both space it should not be an issue

I definitely over reacted. My apologies David R.

Nah my bad, I mis-read the persons post you were responding to, maybe because of the funny spelling/typos at the end of it.

I'd be interested to see if jars mellow out if given a large enough tank/pond/river, it obviously works in habitat so its worth a shot.

I had a 20" jardini that was mean as hell. It would attack the african pike.Eventually had to sell the jar.
