Jardini Aro :)

Nice! Mine is growing pretty slowly.. It never eats the same food except SW's.. had it accepting pellets, krill and MW... now it doesn't touch any of those. Still 7". Still skittish. Starting to get skinny as well..

just wanted to share a pic of my jardini wanted to know what you guys thought. paid 150$ last week, maybe i over paid but i really wanted it...

How big is it? Looks to be about 12"-14".. Here in Houston, a Jardini that size would cost minimum of 250 at LFS.
 
Nice Jar you have Water.... I have 4" Jar it feels like hez growing evday now... have him since two mnths he was 2" when i got him.... hez a survivor, got attacked by a gar... jumped out from a unbelievable place (still cant figure out how he managed to do it), got attacked by synos and now he is turning into an agressor with my sens... hoping he doesn't get too wacky... i feed him blood worms, aro sticks, and peletts... he is a very messy eater when it comes to sticks and pellets... sometimes it feels like he just spitting them out.. does your Jar do something like this?
 
Well, I feed my Jardini New Life Spectrum pellets(4.5mm floating).. They're a bit harder for Aro's to eat but he swallows 80% of the pellet and expells 20% of it. I just think he's not used to eating the pellets or he may be a bit too small to chew them well enough.. So I stopped feeding pellets for now. What types of pellets do you use?

Hikari cichlid bio gold... and he has stopped taking in raw shrimps even, would just mouth them and spit ehm out...
