i feed mine market shrimp, cichlid gold pellets, F/D krill ,F/D shrimp, roaches, centipedes, and crickets....i've tried everything but, thats all he'll eat.

mine eats everything i've tried so far minus pellets (beefheart, bloodworms, turkey, fish filets, my poor tetras LOL, FD krill). gonna try some meal worms next.

Varied diet...

Market shrimp, beef heart, krill, aro sticks, massivore, etc...

You can feed whatever your aro will eat. There's no such thing as the best diet for aro. But a varity will be a good balance.

I tried just mainly pellet diet on one of my jar and it's growing real fast and bulky. The keep word is quality pellets.

Both my aros are on pretty much the same thing. I also feed them haddock and polluck fillet as well as clams...a varied diet is key.

ive been feeding mine hikari cichlid gold ever since i got it at 3". hes a little under 10" now. i used to feed him market prawns too but it made the water smell so i keep him on pellets now.
