I have done a search but couldn't really find an answer to tell me 100% .

I have a 4x2x2Foot 120 gal tank and would love a Jardini Arowana in it .

Tank mates will be probily be a Black Belt and Jaguar Cichlid .

i dont really think i could put a Jardini Arowana in the tank as the width is a little small for one to turn around in ( i think ) but i would just like to double check .

Sorry if this has been asked before about tank sizes , but i couldn't find what i was looking for when i did a search .

chances are the jardini would kill the tankmates anyway, so I wouldnt try it.

Ok thanks , wouldnt be able to get a bigger tank and if you think one will just end up killing the other fish i thnk ill just not get one .

Would i be able to have any sort of Arowana in the tank for life ?

many people in Asia keep Asain arowana in a 4x2x2 tank for years so that will be your best bet

they are more expencive than other aros but worth every penny in my books

i see you are in the UK same as me :D

prices

green £100-150
banjar 1.5 red waste of money
red tail gold £350-£600
super red grade 1 £1000-1600
cross back gold £1000-1600

its also best to get a small 6inch asian aro and grow it up with lots of diffrent types of tank mate unlike jardini it wont kill tank mate if introduced at a young age

definitely not. Jardinis and asian aros are not anywhere close to silvers in flexibility. A silver MIGHT be able to last its life in it, MIGHT. Jardini wont be able to turn when it gets bigger. Whoever keeps asian aros in a 120 is creul...
