Would i be able to have any sort of Arowana in the tank for life ?

Yes. But their life will be shortened and they will probably die a miserable stunted death from being kept in too small a tank.

Just think about it for a second, there isn't a species of aro that shouldn't at least get close to 30" if well cared for. Do you really think that tank is big enough for a 30" fish? :screwy:

definitely not. Jardinis and asian aros are not anywhere close to silvers in flexibility. A silver MIGHT be able to last its life in it, MIGHT. Jardini wont be able to turn when it gets bigger. Whoever keeps asian aros in a 120 is creul...

you are calling half the people in Asia cruel then

a 4x2x2 tank is a standard size tank in Asia

OK then no point even looking for one now .

I do have a Silver in the tank at the moment but he is only 7inch head - tail and the way he swims around jumping up smashing into the hood i wouldnt risk one in the tank for life as when he will get bigger and stronger will most likely break the tank because of the lack of room .

I am currently making a 800+ Gal pond for the one i have at the moment .

Could i put 1 or 2 more Silvers in the pond with my current one ?

Other fish which will going in the pond aswel ( I think ) is 3 Lima Catfish , 3 Sting Ray and then 5 maybe 7 Oscars .

I know, I come from Hong Kong myself. Its only the standard size cuz we cant fit anything bigger into an elevator to get it up to the apartment. And 4x2x2 is only if you're REALLY lucky to have that much space.

We put a friends 5x2x2 150g in an elevator on its end, with just enough room for someone to stand next to it and push the buttons.
I know asians are short but surely they make lifts tall enough for at least a 5' tank...

its not that its not tall enough, its that, theres no place to rest it, you cant get trollies in them and im not sure you want to hold an elevator open/carry a heavy tank/watch where you're going at the same time and then try to find your house.
