Jardini/Arowana Tank Question.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The silvers would look better in the pond then the jars. I wouldn't put any aros with the RTCs though, it will just make for a sad thread here on MFK.

im not really into silvers. where i come from silvers are really cheap and common. yet at the same time i dont wana sacrifice an asian arowana in the pond so ill try with a jardini first. do u guys know how long it will take for a juve jardini to reach 2++ feet? thanks

hey guys. im getting a tank custom built for my house and its dimensions are 7 foot long by 2.5 foot wide by 3 foot deep. is this good enough to house a fully grown jardini? and how big can jardini's potentially grow to? thanks for ure help!

i would go for silver aro's they can get really big and look more natural in with redtails:D

i whould get rid of the rtc's and add more aros :naughty:

r u kidding? my RTCS are the highlight of my fishkeeping career. no fish is more responsive or fun to watch grow considering u have the tank space and lots of cash to feed it. if it werent for my parents i wouldnt be able to keep two!

how big are the RTC's?

with the jar's, i think you are looking at a min. commitment of 2 years before they are pond worthy in size......

that is a huge pond btw....any pics? (ill search in a second....)
